About

I am a writer, cartoonist and editor living and working on Kumeeyay land (in so-called San Diego). My writing and comics focus on Jewishness, lesbianism, animals, pop music, dreams, angels, monsters and magic. I was a 2017 Wheeler Centre Hot Desk fellow, and in 2018 my illustrated essay ‘Dick Talk’ was shortlisted for the Lifted Brow and non/Fiction Lab Experimental Nonfiction Prize and longlisted for the Cosmonauts Avenue Nonfiction Prize. From 2018-2020 I was the head editor of the Australian youth literary magazineVoiceworks.

I am the author of two comic books - Guidebook to Queer Jewish Spirituality (2018) and Kugel Western (2021) - both published by Glom Press.
